Thank you Card

Hellooooo my scrappy peeps!
I am back with a very simple card that I created for a friend as well as the October Card Challenge that is being hosted over at Craft Happens Ning Site.

I used a few dies from my stash on this card. The border on the side is from the Spellbinders Parisian Accents Die Set. The Fleur De Lis Background is a Spellbinders Impressibilities which I impressed onto a cream colored cardstock then distressed it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also used The Spellbinders Labels 18 Die.
The gorgeous flourish on the card is the Fanciful Flourish die by Cheery Lynn Designs which I purchased from Darlene over at http://dutchpapercrafts.blogspot.com/. She has great prices on all sorts of dies! The 3 Flowers on the card are all from Wild Orchid Crafts ..
Aside from this card I have been actively crafting here and there.  I am about 1/2 way done with the mini album that I have been working on for a personal swap with my scrappy friend Monique Mason over at ButterBeeScraps so stay tuned for that. I'm hoping to get it done in the next week or so!

Last Post! Altered 5 Drawer Dresser

Hi Scrappers!
Ok this is my last post for today I promise. So I have been working on a mini album for a personal swap with my friend Monique (butterbeescraps) - My youtube was being neglected and since I was in need  of a new video and the mini is not due to be completed for another 2 weeks or so I decided to do this simple and quick project. I had this little dresser thingy sitting on the shelf so I decided to finally alter it. I wanted it to be quick and simple and here is how it turned out! To check out the video click HERE

So I used DCWV Chateau Lavender Paper Stack. And I left it very simple since I thought the paper was beautiful I didn't want to be covering it up all that much. I used My lindy's Moon Shadow Ink - Pirates Plunder Gold to stain the wood instead of painting it with acrylic paint. To see what products I used check out the video I got over all of the products there.

ERIC my new love! Spellbinders Grand Calibur!

Hey Everyone!
So I introduced one of the new loves of my life in one of my videos on youtube back in Aug. I have been wanting the BigShot Pro for the longest time as well as the Spellbinders Grand Calibur. My original plan was to buy the BS Pro first then eventually get the Calibur somewhere down the road. Well the Pro will take me much much longer to save for and is HUGE! So I went with the Calibur. I sold a few of my old cricut cartridges that I NEVER use and got this bad boy with a Joann's 50% coupon at Michael's! Gotta love the acceptance of competitor coupons LOL.  I have a tendency to name my possessions that I truly Love. So without any more delay this is ERIC! He is named after my FAVORITE True Blood character Eric Northman! Isn't he beautiful and SEXY lol!
Well I just wanted to share my new love since I get overly excited when I make new purchases! ehehhehe! He is a dream and cuts BEAUTIFULLY! I love the larger platform.. 8 1/2" x 12 plates! I get sooo many cuts done on one run for all of my smaller dies and takes all the larger border spellbinder dies that I couldnt cut on my cuttlebug since I did not have the extender plates! Which I did not want to purchase since I do NOT like my cuttlebug lol... Anyways I Love Love Love my new toy so I just wanted to share it with the world! LOL

Alrighty I'm outta here!!!

Another Altered Cigar Box

I'm back! Post #2 LOL. Well now that I look there will be 4 posts total lol.. I just noticed that I didn't post the 3rd altered Cigar Box that I did. This was created for a swap over at MAS -MiniAlbumScraps.ning.com. I must say I absolutely LOVE the way this box came out. Another one I wanted to keep for myself lol.
Anyways,tThis is going to be a quick post so I wont be listing the products that I used on this box since it was done back toward the end of June I believe and it would be very time consuming for me to go back and find all the products. I do go over all the products used on my yt video so if you are interested click HERE.

I know I always post all the products I used so sorry about that.  But since there are a total of 3 or 4 blog posts I need to make these short and sweet since my kids are already all over me to get off my laptop. LOL

Chipboard Mini Album

Hey Everyone,
So here is my first take at a chipboard mini album from the dollar section at Michael's. I am not pleased with the way it turned out but I made a promise to myself to show everything that I created whether it came out nice or not. lol So here I am sharing even though it makes me cringe and want to hurl by looking at it. Anywhooo.... All the products I used will be listed below the photos. So this album was created for my son's teacher. today is his last day of Kindergarten :::sniffles:::: and i had completed forgotten I wanted to make his teacher a gift.. I only spent like 2 to 2.5hrs on this album. over the length of 4 days.. I know.. craftin time these past few days have been scarce. So I decided to use a paper collection that I hate lol... Its been sitting in my box for ages.. it was given to me a long time ago and it been sitting there. so I just decided to use it.... that was my first mistake using paper I didn't particularly love.. Oh well, it is what it is...So here are the pics. I did do a video on it which I have already posted on youtube.

I took the pics before I created the the photo tags that go in the album so theres no pics of that.. but your not missing anything lol. they are just photomats... no embellishing.
As you can tell I left the album pretty bare... hardly any embellishments.

I Finally Got a BIA!!!

Ok Ok. So I was a little naughty this past weekend! I said I wouldn't be making any new purchases for quite sometime because I am saving for my Big Shot Pro. Well I used the money I was going to save towards the PRO this month on the BIA. I had heard that Tuesday Morning sometimes carried them for a great price. So I went on the hunt for it. There are 6 Tuesday Mornings within a 20 mi radius so I called 4 out of the 6 stores before I found it. And I was lucky too. It was the last one they had! And it was super cheap! You can't beat $30! Brand new seals and looking beautiful! Of course now it will be a little while before I actually use it since I don't have the o-wires for it... But I promised myself I wasn't going to buy anything else at all! So here is the latest edition to my scrapbook area.. lol.. I love it to death even tho its PINK! Ugh why can't it be a more appealing color like Black. lol.. Oh well.
I can't wait to make something with it! Stay tuned!

Altered Mirror

Hey Scrappers!
Finally I am getting around to doing the blog post for the altered mirror I did a video for about a week ago. I started this mirror with the idea it would be for my own scrap space but as I chose the paper I realized it would be perfect for one of my scrappy bff's new scraproom. This is for the lovely Kayluvs2scrap! She is truly one of the greatest friends I could have asked for as well as Mrs. Mely Goodman! I love these two ladies to death!
So to start things off I used a mirror I purchased at Ikea. I did not need to paint is since the frame was already painted black. I once again used the Black Currant paper stack by DCWV. I know I know I've used the same stack for all my projects... Well I only have 3 stacks but I promise I am currently working on something for Mely using a different stack lol. I hope to have it posted in a few days! I know in my video I said I would post all the items used but it's very time consuming lol. So I decided not to post them. if you really want to know just leave me a comment and I will let you know exactly what I used. I did go over it in my video so you can check that out if you want to know lol.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my project.

Kay I hope you like your mirror!

Happy Scrappin Everyone
