Mixed Media Tag for Yvonne (ScrapBliss)

Hey Everyone! I'm back with a post that is NOT as card WOOHOO! So as I mentioned in my previous post that I had created a mixed media tag. So here it is! Yvonne (Scrapliss) and I decided to do a mixed media tag swap a few months ago so here is mine! I used a bunch of different products on this  tag and I absolutely love the way it came out! For a list of the main products used please check the bottom of this post which will include links list most of the products used.

So with out delay here is collage picture of the tag. I absolutely adore it! I had such a hard time sending this out lol. This tag came together fairly quickly. I say it took me between 1.5-2hrs to create and most of that time was spent coloring the flowers and waiting glossy accents to dry a lil bit before moving on lol.. The background came together quickly as i was impatient and used me heat tool to dry all the layers. So I had the thought of garden theme in my head when I started the tag and of course I had to add metal.. it wouldn't be a project of mine if it didn't have metal somewhere on it. So as in all my projects I like to capture both mine and my swap partners styles/tastes. So the metal represents me and all the colors for my swap partner. I also chose to personalize the tag and add her full name to it with some scrabble tiles. So for the background I used a couple of stencils and sprays which are listed below and chose to keep the flowers different shades as opposed to gesso-ing and spraying with the background as I did with my previous tag. I wanted the metal to stand out as well.
Ok I am rambling enough. I did do a finished project video on this tag. to check it out click HERE.

Elegant Birthday Card

Hey Everyone,
So I am back with another card share. I know I know it seems like all I do is create cards.. lol. I feel like only a card maker at the moment. But I did finish another mixed media tag that I will be posting shortly and I have been working on some scrapbook layouts so stay tuned for those.
I actually did a complete start to finish video on this card so if you are interested click HERE.So without further delay here is the card :) I had originally intended on this card being a wedding or anniversary card since I chose the silver and gold foil paper but did not have the appropriate stamps for it so of course it became a birthday card. But hey you cant have too many birthday cards in your stash lol.

Front of the card
So on the front I used an array of metal filigree products from ButterBeeScraps Artistic Treasures as well as a crochet doily which I got from ThePaperBagLady. The background silver die cut piece was cut from Cheerylynn Designs Mediterranean Lace Rectangle Frame and I backed that with gold foil paper. The happy birthday stamp is from the Paper Trey Ink Inside and Out Birthday Stamp Set which was heat embossed with Ranged Fine Detail Gold Embossing powder.

Inside of the card
The inside as always I like to decorate as well. I used the same filigree corners as I used on the front of the card. The sentiment is also from the same Paper Trey Ink stamp set I listed above.

If you have any questions please let me know.
Thank you so much for stopping by

MIxed Media Tag

So scrolling thru my posts I realized I did not post a mixed media tag that I did for a tag swap I was in with my friend Yvette the DaileyScrapper. So here I am to share it. It was my first time creating a mixed media tag. I kind of just went with the flow. And the flow ended being completely grungy which is totally out of the box but I still am pleased with the result. SO here is the tag without further delay. If you are interested in the video you can check it out by clicking HERE. Again sorry for not posting the products used below but just trying to get this done as quickly as possible since I am at work. So here are a couple of pictures of the tag. Hope you enjoy it :)

I totally had a blast creating this, got all nice and messy and did not have to worry about thing of where to place things. I grabbed something threw it down and there was its home lol.  If you have any questions please let me know :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Another Card Creation

Here is card #2 from my series of cards I have been making over the past couple of weeks using 2 of the prima doily dies that were released a couple of month ago. I am  still on a metal kick so most of the items used were metal filigrees. I can't help it I just love metal!!!! LOL. As in the previous post for details of products used please check out the video where I show both cards, I go over everything I used. You can click HERE.

The picture speaks for itself displaying the awesome metal which is what I wanted to stand out. I hope you enjoyed the card. I know this is a short post but I am at work lol. I need to get back to it. hheheheeh.
Thanks for stopping by!!!

Card creation post

Hey Everyone,
I'm back I know a couple of months between posts. Well I've been creating cards a bunch since its the quickest thing for me to do when I am busy, plus cards just come really easy to me. So I will be doing separate posts for each card. All 3 cards were using metal filigrees as the key embellishments for the cards. So here is the first card I created. I went with a simple designs for this one. Not a whole lot going on. I had purchased the prima doily dies when they were first released and had not yet used them so these cards came from my need to cut those doilies out. The card doesnt need a whole lot of explanation its pretty simple. If your interested in all the products used you can check out the yt video where I go over the products by clicking HERE

If you have any questions please let me know! Check out the next post for the next card :)
